Botox injections, Michael & Company beauty, Kidlington, OxfordWe can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a younger, fresher look with wrinkle-free injections such as Botox® and Azzalure® at our beauty salon in Kidlington, Oxford.

Dr Rachel Weyl is an expert in achieving natural looking results using wrinkle reduction treatments.  The aim is to make you look younger, fresher and more relaxed and you’ll also find it much harder to form further wrinkles as your ability to frown is reduced.

During an in-depth consultation, Dr Weyl will discuss the look you are after and explain the process, price and what can realistically be achieved to improve your looks.

This is an effective treatment for temporarily removing forehead wrinkles, ‘crow’s feet’ eye wrinkles, ‘frown lines’ between the eyebrows, and sagging jowls. It can also have a lifting effect around the eyebrow and forehead.

What are wrinkle-reducing injections?

Botox and Azzalure are highly diluted forms of the neurotoxin protein botulinum. These are expertly injected into selected muscles to temporarily relax those muscles.

How many treatments will I need?

It depends on which areas you want to have treated.  Most people have one treatment and return for a further treatment once the treatment wears off after a few months.

Does it hurt?

Discomfort is kept to a minimum and we can apply a topical anaesthetic cream before treatment.

When will I see improvements in my wrinkles?

Most people see the full effect 10-14 days after the first treatment.

How long will the improvements last?

The effect usually lasts for between three and six months, after which your muscles will regain their strength. You can, of course, return for regular treatments.

How safe are wrinkle-free injectable?

Botulinum toxin type A was introduced in clinical practice in the 1970s and 1980s to treat squints and blepharospasm.  Botox® gained approval for cosmetic use in the UK in 2006 and is widely used in America and numerous other countries.   Azzalure® gained approval for cosmetic use in the UK in early 2009.
